As the time of this writing in 2025, Reset received the news by guitarist Jay Ridge he would be unable to remain as their 2nd guitarist in command due to family obligations and having to prioritize time and finances. The news was given unexpectingly shortly upon the release of their 7th studio album released on Dec 1st, 2024. However, Jay did not leave is position in stereotypical band fashion . On the contrary, he is still involved on the backend of things and has been relegated to “office work” in a manner of speaking, He continues to lend his extra time outside of typical family and work duties to keeping Reset media up to date and producing merchandising for their online shop and upcoming shows. Phil and Pat has since been given the opportunity to re-focus and strategize on their next moves which has come in a decision to promote and release a new video for their reprised version of “Everyday” taken from their latest album release with Pat on lead vocals. This is especially significant because it poises the 30 year punk rock veterans back to a classic trio status with Pat at the helm on bass and vocals. His vocal skills and emultion of Pierre Bouvier (Reset / Simple Plan) is unmatched all the while enabling Reset to keep their discography of popular favorite songs among loyalist fans alive and well with uncanny and precise execution in both live performance and in studio.
